Head Coach Kyle Sousa joined the Oliver Ames Cross Country Program in 2007 as an assistant coach to long-time cross country coaches Neil Levine and Judy Copley. Following their retirement, Sousa was named head Coach for the 2014 Cross Country Season. Sousa is a biology teacher at Oliver Ames.

Coach Sousa explains the program's philosophy and the reason for it's success:  "We treat every student athlete the same. Whether you are fast or slow, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you show up every day, and adhere to the values we cherish: integrity, commitment, hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance. That is how we measure success."
