Catherine O'Donnell

Hi! This will be my fourth season of OAXC. Going out of my comfort zone and joining the team freshman year was truly the best decision I’ve ever made. I had no running experience going into it, but immediately felt so comfortable and cared for. Being a part of this team is like being a part of a family, and is such a special experience. The lessons we have all learned along the way show that it’s more than just running. If you are interested in joining the team, definitely take a chance and do it! We would love to have you as a part of the team. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions!

Abbey Querzoli

Hi! My name is Abbey Querzoli and I have been a part of OAXC for four years now. I decided to make the switch from playing field hockey to joining cross country, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. From the start, the team is so welcoming and you really feel like you are part of a family. The people I have met through this sport are some of the most important people in my life, and I will cherish our memories always. This team has taught me the value of hard work, giving your best even when times seem challenging, and that running is not just an individual sport. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, and hope to see you soon!

Meghan Reardon

Hi! My name is Meghan Reardon and this will by my fourth year running cross country. Through my two older sisters, I was introduced to the sport of running and the culture at oaxc. Since joining, I have never looked back. Cross country has led to some of my closest friendships and best high school experiences. Through this program, not only have I learned how to push my personal limits to achieve goals I never thought possible, but I also got to be a part of a family community that welcomes everyone. Joining this team has been one of the best decisions of my life, and because of that I urge you to join as well. For any questions or information, please feel free to reach out to me by email. I hope to see you on the team this coming year!

Jake Welz

Hi, my name is Jake Welz and this will be fourth year running cross country. As a freshman, I joined to stay conditioned for basketball. Long story short, cross country became my sport and was one of the best things that happened to me. I’ve come to love the sport and made many friends through the team. I’ve never been the fastest runner, but with this team it doesn’t matter. Everyone on this team works together and supports each other to become the best runner and person they can be. One of my favorite parts of the team is captains practices in the summer. I decided to come to nearly all of them my junior year and I got to know a lot of my teammates much better and improved tremendously as a runner. If you have any questions or need help with anything, feel free to reach out to me via email or phone number!

Kyle Sarney

Hi guys, my name is Kyle Sarney and I will be entering my third season of cross country. When I entered Oliver Ames as a freshman I started out playing soccer in the fall season. After that season I decided to join the winter track team where I found my love for running. Going into sophomore year I decided to join the cross country team and have never looked back since. I can confidently say that this is by far the best sport and the best program I have ever been a part of. You are going to meet so many great people along the way and I hope to see all of you in the fall! Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you might have and I will be more than happy to answer them for you!

Nate Reservitz

Hey! I’m Nate Reservitz and this will be my fourth and final year on OAXC. When I first joined the team as a freshman, I had the privilege of having my older brother as a Captain. My Brother along with several other upperclassmen, helped teach me what OAXC was really about. They showed me how to work hard, how to have dedication and pride for the team, how to overcome adversity, and most importantly how to be a leader. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their positive influence on my life. And now, I hope I can have that same impact on others on the team that those upperclassmen once did for me! Being on the Oliver Ames Cross Country Team has been the best decision of my life, and I am so proud to be able to help lead the team on my final season. If you have any concerns or questions, don’t hesitate to contact me! The captains and I are here for you during these uncertain times and we can’t wait to see you this upcoming season!
